DELOREAN SERVICE NORTHWEST RELOCATES TO REDMOND, WA
TOBY PETERSON MOVES DELOREAN SALES AND SERVICE CENTER
TO NEW LOCATION, NEW WEBSITE, NEW PHONE NUMBER
REDMOND, WA (January 29, 2019) – DeLorean owners and fans in the Northwestern United States and Western Canada have a new home in Redmond, WA, as DeLorean expert Toby Peterson sets up a new shop to support the DeLorean community in the Seattle area, and around the world.
Peterson has been working on DeLorean Motor Cars since 1988, and he still drives one today. He has operated a DeLorean service center since 2006, and has done everything with DeLoreans, including massive auto accident repairs, engine upgrades and replacements, interior refreshes, ongoing maintenance, and he even completely converted a stock DeLorean to be a right-hand-drive for a customer in Australia. His depth of knowledge on DeLorean cars makes him one of a select few ‘rockstars’ in the DeLorean community.
The new shop location in Redmond is nestled among the trees of the Eastside, just a few short minutes from the Woodinville wineries, and Microsoft main campus. There are known to be at least 150 DeLoreans in the Seattle region, with hundreds more of the stainless steel beauties residing all over Eastern and Western Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California, and beyond – and DeLorean Service Northwest is ready to serve the DeLorean community.
Just 9,080 DeLorean Motor Company DeLoreans were manufactured from 1981 to 1983, with only about 4,500 left in existence in 2018. Many of the car’s drivetrain and engine parts can be found over the counter, with some parts being harder to come by – but without the expertise of DeLorean Service Northwest and a few other skilled individuals, maintaining and restoring a DeLorean can be quite a task.
“I think I’ve worked on just about every physical, electrical, and mechanical issue DeLoreans have ever had, and I’ve really enjoyed bringing these cars back to life, and delivering them to owners who love them and want to share them.” said Toby Peterson when asked about working on the cars. “Most people know the car because of the Back to the Future movies. It makes them smile. That’s one reason we love owning these cars.” he said. Toby is also an active member with the Pacific Northwest DeLorean Club, which is the oldest and one of the most active DeLorean clubs in the world.
Peterson’s shop specializes in DeLoreans, but also has extensive knowledge of other “classic exotics”, including Ferrari, Lotus, Corvette, Maserati, Porsche, and Lamborghini to name a few. He encourages customers to contact him to set up an appointment, or schedule work. Find out more about DeLorean Service Northwest by visiting www.DeLorean-Service.com
